Terms and conditions
for the rental of Screenflex screens.
Delivery
- Screenflex will deliver the screens on the delivery date agreed with you beforehand.
- In the event that you decide to change the delivery date you must provide Screenflex with at least 2 working days prior notice.
- In the event that you fail to provide Screenflex with less than 2 working days prior notice of the change to the delivery date Screenflex may charge you an additional fee of £100 at its discretion.
- A working day is 9.00 am to 5.00 p.m. during which the banks are open in England.
Returns
- Screenflex will
pick up the screens on the agreed return date.
- If you decide to change
the return date to a date earlier than the agreed return date you will still
be required to pay for the screen rental at the pre-arranged rate up to
the date of the agreed return date.
- If you decide to change
the return date to a date after the agreed return date then you will be
required to pay for the screen rental at the pre-agreed rate until the date
when Screenflex pick up the screens.
- In the event that you
fail to provide Screenflex with less than 2 working days priot notice of
the change to the agreed return date Screenflex may change you an additional
fee of £100 at its discretion.
Cancellation charges
- If you decide to cancel
rental of the screens you must provide a minimum of 4 working days notice
to Screenflex.
- In the event that you
do not provide a minimum of 4 working days notice to Screenflex, Screenflex
may charge you at its discretion the following Cancellation Charges.

Damages and Repair
Risk of the screens will pass to you on receipt of delivery of the screen(s).
- From delivery until receipt by Screenflex
of the screens you will remain responsible for the screens. You are expected
to have in place sufficient insurance in order to cover the risk of loss,
damage, or theft of the screens.
- If Screenflex on inspection of the screens
at its head office identifies any damage caused during the term of the rental
then it will be entitled at its discretion to make the following charges:
- £500 for all damages capable of being repaired
by Screenflex
- £1,250 for all damages incapable of being
repaired by Screenflex.
Charges, invoicing and payment
- Screenflex will invoice you setting out
the charges that you owe in relation to your rental period after the screens
have been delivered for rental. Any damages to the screens discovered
after inspection on return to the head office will involve additional charges that Screenflex is capable of charging you in accordance with these terms and conditions.
- You are required to pay the invoices within
30 days of receipt of the invoice. Screenflex shall be entitled to charge
interest upon any late dpayment of your invoice at the sum of 4% above LLoyds
TSB Bank's standard base rate until full payment is received by Screenflex.
Disclaimer and Liability
- Screenflex screens are available on an
"AS IS" basis upon receipt and no representation or warranties
are given (whether express, implied or orally) and all implied warranties
under law are excluded to the extend that the same are capable of exclusion.
- Screenflex limits its liability under these
terms and conditions for all damages, losses and expenses incurred by you to the sum of the fees paid by you to Screenflex.
- Screenflex acknowledges that it cannot limit its liability for loss or damage for fraud, or personal
injury or death caused by Screenflex's negligence.
